Wayne was born in South-Western Ontario. After attending the U of T he entered the financial service industry in June 1964 and then took leave of absence to attend Syracuse University. He returned to the financial field in Toronto in 1965. He became District Manager for his company in 1969 and then moved to Saskatoon as a Provincial Manager in February 1970. He started a company in 1974 specializing in Estate & Retirement Planning. He then expanded to a full services Securities firm, Sanderson Securities LTD, in 1980 and continued until 2006 when he merged with Brian Mallard and Associates where he remains a partner today.
He was very involved in sports, hockey and football, and eventually became a football referee. He attends St. Andrews Presbyterian Church where he currently services as Treasurer. He’s been married to his wife Arline for 47 wonderful years and they have one son, Michael. His life philosophy is “A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, dream big, laugh a lot, and realized how truly blessed you are.”
